Maui
Microchip No.: 953010004766982
D.O.B.: 9/10/2020
Maui, our little elf girl, is now looking for a forever home! She is very affectionate and loves spending time with her humans.

Maui came into our care as she was peeing in places she shouldn't and her owners could not solve the issue no matter what they tried. We took Maui for a health check to rule out a UTI or other medical reason and determined it was a behavioural issue. Inappropriate elimination (AKA peeing in places she shouldn't) is usually a stress response. In Maui's case, her previous home they had another cat that she did not get along with and also young children (she did get along with the children but this does not mean that they aren't a source of stress - we cannot rule it out as a contributing factor). Since coming into our care Maui has not had a single toileting accident.

Maui's ideal home would be a mature household with no other pets or small children. We have tried to slowly introduce her to some other cats in our care and she hasn't enjoyed it, so she would be best on her own.

Maui has been to the vets for a general health check up and is currently up to date with her vaccinations. She is doing really well and has no health concerns.

Maui is currently eating well and using her litter with no issues.

She requires an indoor only home, though access to an outdoor cat enclosure would also be great as long as there are some nice shady spots to hide from the sun! Being a white cat she is even more sensitive to the sun than a normal sphynx.

We ask a standard adoption fee of $1500 for all of our cats, unless otherwise stated. For Maui we are asking a discounted adoption fee of $1200. Our adoption fees help us to recoup some costs and allow us to continue to rescue and rehabilitate sphynx cats in need!
Maui is currently located in Melbourne.

Wasabi
Microchip No.: 985141001243050
D.O.B.: 13/09/2019
Wasabi is a special little girl, she can be a bit spicy like her name… but once she trusts you, she will never leave you alone!

She had a bit of a rough start to life, and initially when she came into care was the most ‘cat’ like sphynx we have ever had – she was a little bit judgemental, hissy and didn’t like being picked up. After a bit of patience and time to settle in she really came out of her shell, she loves cuddles on the couch, being carried around like a baby and is as playful as a kitten when we get out toys. In a new home she will probably be standoffish initially, but it makes it so much more rewarding when she comes out of her shell!

Wasabi has been to the vets for a general health check up and is currently up to date with her vaccinations. She is doing really well and has no health concerns, however she can get a little bit anxious in new situations. At the moment we have been giving her some medication to help calm her only when she has to do stressful things like attend vet appointments, which has been working well.

Wasabi’s ideal home would be a mature household with no children and no other pets. With a proper, slow introduction she could possibly tolerate another cat or even a calm dog, but it would take patience and understanding - we would much rather send her to a home where she will be the only pet and thrive on all the attention!

Wasabi is currently eating well and using her litter with no issues.

Orion
Microchip No.: 900164002056690
D.O.B.: 11/01/2021

Don't be fooled by his permanently grumpy face, this sweet boy has lots of love to give!

Orion was originally meant to be a breeding boy, but he is much better suited to the luxurious life of a lap cat so is looking for his forever family. He is on the small side, weighing only four kilograms so compared to a lot of ‘normal’ cats he is quite little.

Orion has had a general health check up and is up to date on vaccinations. He has been fully DNA tested for diseases and has scanned clear of HCM by a cardiologist in 2022. Orion has had a dental procedure resulting in the removal of a good number of his teeth, which means he can pull some extra funny faces! He will likely need the rest of his teeth out in future regardless of dental care as the poor condition of his teeth seems to be genetic, but for now they are all okay.

Orion does like company, so would be happy with kitty friends or possibly even a calm dog though would still require a proper slow introduction to ensure things went smoothly. He would be okay as an only cat but would need lots of cuddles and attention, he can be a clingy boy and without other cats to distract him will spend his time meowing at humans demanding attention if he knows you are home.

Orion is currently eating well and using his litter with no issues.

He requires an indoor only home, though access to an outdoor cat enclosure would also be great as long as there are some nice shady spots to hide from the sun! Orion definitely likes to sunbake and will get a tan (and even burnt) if you let him, so he would need supervision & to be limited if he had any outdoor/sun time even in an enclosure.

We ask a standard adoption fee of $1500 for all of our cats, unless otherwise stated. For Orion we are asking an adoption fee of $1200 as we know he will likely need further dental procedures in future. Our adoption fees help us to recoup some costs and allow us to continue to rescue and rehabilitate sphynx cats in need!
